Company History

Joe Reitz opened Joseph A. Reitz CPA, PLC in 2005 in Saginaw Township. In 2007, his son Mark joined him in the family business. Over time, the firm name switched to Reitz Financial Group LLC to reflect the additional and varied financial products and services offered. As Mark’s career developed, he focused on shifting the business to be fully independent. In an industry where so many clients are taken advantage of, he firmly believed this was the only way he could service clients with full transparency and integrity. That dream became a reality in 2013, when Joe and Mark formed Reitz Capital Advisors LLC as a Registered Investment Advisory Firm in partnership with Charles Schwab. In 2017, the firm moved from Saginaw Township to its current location in the heart of Freeland, MI to better serve clients throughout the Great Lakes Bay Region and beyond. Today, in the ever-changing world of finance, Mark is constantly learning and growing to always serve his clients in the most meaningful and beneficial way.
